Watching Games on iFollow?

First experience - terrible. Unusably so.

Pro tip?
Second half: having lost about ten minutes due to buffering (despite great wifi and turning most of the other devices off), I watched ten minutes behind the feed. Didn’t need to buffer once and completely solved the problem. Actually enjoyed the experience. Might be something for people to try in future?
I did the same, but just a minute behind. Watching live on the phone, no issues. Watching live on the laptop, buffered immediately. When watching a minute behind live it didn’t buffer again at all.
In the past when I have had buffering problems they have been cured by using Ctrl/Shift/Del on the browser you're using. That's not a random tip but given to me by iFollow when I bitched about buffering. The thing is it ain't gonna work for everyone, but you never know.

Started watching on Laptop but switched to Tablet at half time as I couldn't switch the commentary to BBC Essex

Had a bit of an iFollow mare today, unable to watch the game at all out here in Ireland. A bit ironic as I had stated in a few PMs this week that I have experienced very few issues whenever I have used it over the years. The system took my money fine, but then kept asking for me to pay again every time I clicked on 'watch live stream'. I went through the usual pre-match routine - reboot everything, clear cookies, couple of press-ups etc , but to no effect. The same happened on three different browsers before I gave up and contacted iFollow support. That was not a great experience, and I can see some fun trying to get my tenner back.

Everyone should get there tenner back...i always do with the shoddy rubbish if it's this bad......then they might improve it if they see all the money going back to the customer.
Despite the first half issues iv'e got to say the second half pictures were better than last year so maybe the streaming will be better than last year. But, i'm not paying for one half only so bit like with Ron...no refund, no further business!

I listened to the game alright. But I can't watch the highlights. It keeps saying I need to register. But I was literally listening to the game this afternoon

My first time on iFollow. Cursed and swore at first as it buffered and froze. Clicking on Live (bottom left) made it come good and it's been faultless since. Thanks for the tip on getting the Away commentary - and it's in sync!
I live in Hertfordshire and all was fine except that I had to put up with the Gills commentary. Can someone please tell me, for future reference, how I get the BBC Essex commentary.

In the bottom right corner there was a 'home' or 'away' option. Click that, select the one you want. Job done.

What a **** experience.

It’ll never replace football.

I can’t risk catching the virus and giving it to my wife so it will be all I will have this season. It worked perfectly today for the first time having used it every time when available in the past two seasons. The last time in January it was awful. The WiFi signal in my house Is dreadful - router stuck under the stairs between two solid walls so the superfast broadband just fades away. So I have some powerline adapters and a wired connection which maintains broadband speed and it worked a treat. Laptop and HDMI to TV.

I just hate the streaming being around 50 seconds behind real time. It grinds when I get a notification on my phone before the action happens on screen.

My first experience of iFollow video today using my ancient plasma tv with an Amazon Fire stick and it worked perfectly. Well worth the ten quid I thought.

My first experience of ifollow and worked perfectly well. Lucky as now working from home had an Ethernet port fitted a few weeks ago so had no streaming of buffing issues. Liked that we could have BBC Essex commentary as well. All in all £10 well spent and cheaper than paying to sit in that scrap heap of an away end

A cautionary tale about (paying for) iFollow.

For the second season running, iFollow have double counted payment on my Visa card for an overseas season pass. That's 166 euros X 2.Obviously I've "reclaimed" this amount from Visa and told IFollow what I think about their service (only got an automated reply so far).

This amount was debited to my visa account from iFollow on the 1st September but only withdrawn late on Friday 4th September.Last year my local bank sorted the problem within a week or so.It so happens that I check my Spanish bank accounts online on an almost daily basis so I spotted the error fairly quickly.

I'd advise any overseas Shrimpers (and indeed anyone in the UK who paid for an individual match pass) to check their visa statments carefuly next week.

I watched my first ever ifollow match Vs Gillingham, it’s didn’t buffing and showed clear quality pics and it’s feel like watching skysports live game. Just use WiFi to make it work. I watched it on my iPhone 11 plus.58E30D41-F0BB-4E9D-8B2B-B6288BBFE432.jpeg
