He mentioned at the CEO forum that the swing in TV money alone was £1.3m IIRC.Yep. I believe Tom Lawrence said promotion back to the EFL is worth over £2m overall. That's not even including increased revenue through gate receipts (Which would go through the roof) and everything else either. It's massive for us financially.
At least that’s not in the open letter. The fact that he thinks the game is Saturday doesn't fill me full of hope!
Edit - tbf that's a good letter that lays out a convincing case.
Looks like all the coaches from Roots Hall are sold out. Just the Basildon and airport ones left!
Swindon and Bristol Rovers comes to mindWhich teams would have a decent away following though? Colchester May muster a 1000. Anyone else?
It’s actually essential to identify who is blocking extra tickets otherwise we get nowhere - and it the stadium and FA.So that’s it for tickets now. We’re at the apportioning blame stage![]()
Gillingham?Swindon and Bristol Rovers comes to mind
Tbh if you are travelling as a single from near one of the pick up points the coach does look a decent option if it’s in reality just a tenner more.Booking on the Coach doesn't look too bad if I am honest ( Door to Door without the hassle of travelling across London .
I just looked at a all Zones Travel card from Wickford on Sunday its £30.10p
Blimey. not travelled into London for 7 years .... its not cheap these days I thought its was around £20...lol
If you go on the tickets page there are tickets available it seems in section 113 and some other sections not coaches
Well done to our politicians for finding out where the buck stops - at Wembley Stadium itself. This is the much vaunted and very expensive national stadium (which clearly should have been beside a motorway and rail line on the edge of Birmingham to be truly national) but is instead in deepest North London which is apparently inaccessible to large crowds once one of several nearby rail stations is shut for engineering works. It beggars belief.**** me, so it is down to Wembley then?
This is mental.
It’s weasel words. The key sentence is “There was sufficient information available to Wembley Stadium to make their own judgment about a safe capacity without consideration by the SAG”It’s actually essential to identify who is blocking extra tickets otherwise we get nowhere - and it the stadium and FA.
All roads have led there having interrogated all the stakeholders.
No-one else is saying no.
@secondalibiYep it now appears you can buy Match day Tickets , without Coach travel now
Buy Buy Buy Folks
but if you click in that section it says nothing available in that price categoryIf you go on the tickets page there are tickets available it seems in section 113 and some other sections not coaches
