Wembley tickets

Yep. I believe Tom Lawrence said promotion back to the EFL is worth over £2m overall. That's not even including increased revenue through gate receipts (Which would go through the roof) and everything else either. It's massive for us financially.
He mentioned at the CEO forum that the swing in TV money alone was £1.3m IIRC.

Looks like all the coaches from Roots Hall are sold out. Just the Basildon and airport ones left!

Booking on the Coach doesn't look too bad if I am honest ( Door to Door without the hassle of travelling across London .

I just looked at a all Zones Travel card from Wickford on Sunday its £30.10p

Blimey. not travelled into London for 7 years .... its not cheap these days I thought its was around £20...lol

Tbh if you are travelling as a single from near one of the pick up points the coach does look a decent option if it’s in reality just a tenner more.

If coming not from Southend and travelling in a car shared between 4 at the other end of the scale then very unattractive.

**** me, so it is down to Wembley then?

This is mental.
Well done to our politicians for finding out where the buck stops - at Wembley Stadium itself. This is the much vaunted and very expensive national stadium (which clearly should have been beside a motorway and rail line on the edge of Birmingham to be truly national) but is instead in deepest North London which is apparently inaccessible to large crowds once one of several nearby rail stations is shut for engineering works. It beggars belief.

Let's hope that Wembley Stadium takes responsibility and agrees to an increase in attendance.

It’s actually essential to identify who is blocking extra tickets otherwise we get nowhere - and it the stadium and FA.
All roads have led there having interrogated all the stakeholders.
No-one else is saying no.
It’s weasel words. The key sentence is “There was sufficient information available to Wembley Stadium to make their own judgment about a safe capacity without consideration by the SAG”

This will mean it has gone to the Safety Advisory Group who have said no. Their argument is that it didn’t need to go to it. That’s clearly a weak argument designed to dodge political fallout.

The stuff about Twickenham, staggered entrances etc is much stronger but that presumably implicates Brent Council who don’t want a load of football fans hanging around for hours before and after.
