Wembley tickets

Gonna end up with more day trippers than southend fans there. If a season ticket holder each gets the maximum 4 tickets and 3 support some **** like West Ham then there will only be around 5000 max proper fans in the 19000. Fans missing out could have potentially been to 30 odd games this season home and away but will miss out. What a terrible situation all round.
That’s not exactly true, my season ticket the other 3 tickets will be going to my friends who go home and away games, and I think there will be many others who do that.

Really tickets should go to people who actually go not families - sounds harsh but it’s the people who make the effort on cold Tuesday nights who deserve it more

True. I've privately given my allocation to people on here I don't even know, through what I've read have travelled from afar, attended game on game, and paid lots of money out in advance (they would lose) in good faith on travel and hotels, over friends and family I wanted to take.

And just like that the excitement goes. I wasn’t able to purchase a season ticket this season due to work commitments. But still managed to squeeze a load of games in. Spent the last few days arranging days off work and sorting child care for the little ones who aren’t old enough for a day like this yet. Got to wait until 1pm Sunday to see if any tickets are left and only after 2.
You'll get tickets, don't panic and don't let it take the gloss off of the excitement of Southend going to Wembley

Fully agree with this. Personally think 4 tickets per season ticket including kids ones is too much with a much reduced allocation. Should have been 1 extra ticket with a kids season ticket so they can take a friend and 2 extra for an adult season ticket. That would have left a lot more available for proper fans who go a lot but just can’t get a season ticket because of personal circumstances

As a ST holder, I actually agree, should have been 1 more. But I hope most will give them to fans who have been loyal game on game. They'll bring us the atmosphere, not day trippers.

I’ve just had a thought on Oldham’s statement of an additional 9,000 with coaches. They have secured 50 which I’m guessing equates to 2,500 of the potential 9,000 with 50 for every additional coach after that. Is that the way to read it? If so 28 coaches so far for SUFC would give us an additional 1,400 allocation. It doesn’t get us anywhere near the 25-30K but it does give us more than 17,500 and obviously rises with each additional registered coach. Coach capacity at Wembley is not an issue btw.

How many STH do we have? My biggest concern is how many of them will take 4 per STH for friends and family. I do wish the club had limited it to less than 4. Online Sunday is going to be carnage!

Call me a doom merchant but I don’t think either TfL or the Met will cave in on this one.

The Latic’s forum seems to be a bit calmer than ours. Their expectation is 25K max fans anyway.

It’s be a kick in the teeth for Southend fans who live in Herts, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire etc
And Sussex! I've brough the grandsons up several times this season, but we can't justify season tickets. Already booked the parking, but that now looks to be wasted if we can't get tickets. Been going to Roots Hall since 1966 and all over the country watching them (A winter's game at Crewe in the freezing weather with less than 2000 in the crowd being a particular highlight...but we won 2-1, so it was worth it). Now it looks like we, and many others may miss out.
