I wasn't planning to get the coach, even with the rail disruptions so that not quite the reassurance I was hoping for in that update but it's something.
As long as people don't block the view of others in block 113 which is as a family block so will have plenty of kids in thereThere’s safe standing at the back of 110-112, but this only holds about 1k. The whole of block 110-112 will be standing I imagine, being the TBV blocks.
Haha I did raise an eye brow at her signature!Nice work Scott/Anna.....its given me inspiration to update my email signature:

don't believe the club has handled the situation very well. This would have probably have been my Dads last ever Southend game. Also I have got the car park at Wembley booked. Are the club going to reimburse everyone who can't go. I don't think so. I am not sure I want them to win now as its looking like we won't be there. I do not want to hear where everyone will be sitting. Its just winding everyone up, please stop.
Enter Stan and Mr Khan .....After that thread, Matt Slater then posted statements from both TFL and Wembley Stadium (which I assume have been made today). Neither of which seemed particularly encouraging in terms of extra non-coach tickets becoming available.
Actually, to answer my own question, one positive sign is the bit of the TfL statement below which suggests that they think the arrangements they have put in place are enough "based on the number of people expected at the event" - perhaps if we blast through the allocation it will indicate that those expectations were completely wrong, and TfL will be forced to either abandon the work or put more extra services in place? If - as the statements they have made suggest - the Safety Advisory Group/Wembley are doubling down on the restriction, and TfL aren't willing to shift the engineering work (why would they, they will have planned it a year ago, long before the NL booked Wembley), I don't see what the route out is here. The MPs etc can kick and scream but if the SAG genuinely believe any more capacity would be unsafe they're unlikely to budge. Is there any reason to hope that anything will change here, beyond the ongoing efforts to source more coaches? (Perhaps using a shuttle service to maximise coaches/coach parking spaces, as SUFC are investigating)
We have worked closely with Wembley Stadium, Brent council, the Metropolitan Police and the Safety Advisory Group to understand the expected attendance and ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place for fans trying to reach the Vanarama National League Promotion Final. To help mitigate the impact of Wembley Park being closed, we have arranged for more Bakerloo line trains to serve Wembley Central and Chiltern Railways are providing an additional two services per hour servicing Wembley Stadium station on Sunday 1 June. Based on the number of people expected at the event, we are confident that this will help support customers travelling to and from the match.
Or more importantly. How many left..Anyone know how many we have sold?
Their contingency appears to be getting fans on coaches - but the flaw in this plan is that fans are not all coming from Southend - indeed the polls on here suggest at least half Southend fans are not even coming from Essex!!!Actually, to answer my own question, one positive sign is the bit of the TfL statement below which suggests that they think the arrangements they have put in place are enough "based on the number of people expected at the event" - perhaps if we blast through the allocation it will indicate that those expectations were completely wrong, and TfL will be forced to either abandon the work or put more extra services in place?
Snap........me to, it's ridiculous........‘Coach package’ is no use to me. I’ll be in Central London Sunday morning. What am I supposed to do, get a train to Southend so I can board a coach back to London..???

At the same time. There is a 'ticket and coach' option. In some areas this seemed to be the only bookable option.Do you book the coach and ticket at the same time? Or do you have to book a ticket and then book the coach?
Thank youAt the same time. There is a 'ticket and coach' option. In some areas this seemed to be the only bookable option.
Naive fools ......Their contingency appears to be getting fans on coaches - but the flaw in this plan is that fans are not all coming from Southend - indeed the polls on here suggest at least half Southend fans are not even coming from Essex!!!
And broken the Zone rules about abusing other members because they were posting on a ‘Wembley ticket’ thread about getting tickets. The member was warned and did not heed the warning so has been given a thread ban.Well done mods for now banning this member until the playoff final is over!!
All he has done has voiced his opinion on the ticketing fiasco and because the season ticket holding moderators on this forum don’t really care as they have their tickets and to them his opinion doesn’t matter. I fully expect this post not to make it to the forum unedited but I thought I’d try anyway. I’m thankful I’m away for the game as I’d be as annoyed as him if I was trying to get tickets for my family through the correct channels and not relying on season ticket holders who have purchased extra to sell on.
I think this is huge potentially but at the same time annoying because we have already started selling ticketsActually, to answer my own question, one positive sign is the bit of the TfL statement below which suggests that they think the arrangements they have put in place are enough "based on the number of people expected at the event" - perhaps if we blast through the allocation it will indicate that those expectations were completely wrong, and TfL will be forced to either abandon the work or put more extra services in place?
Why aren't they considering proof of parking also for those travelling by car? Would again free up allocation.Their contingency appears to be getting fans on coaches - but the flaw in this plan is that fans are not all coming from Southend - indeed the polls on here suggest at least half Southend fans are not even coming from Essex!!!
Quite frankly I’m a little disappointed that COSU have been a little silent on this, especially like many of us they are based overseas or at least outside Essex. They won’t have any difficulty getting to Wembley and no coaches dictated for them, but hopefully they will have (and demonstrate) some empathy for us long standing supporters. Especially those some distance from Southend-in-sea.Snap........me to, it's ridiculous........
What do you expect them to say? I’m sure they are working in the background to get something sorted and want to come out with good news.Quite frankly I’m a little disappointed that COSU have been a little silent on this, especially like many of us they are based overseas or at least outside Essex.
