Wembley tickets

Ive also heard c2c are looking into running several train direct to wembley
Not to rain on anyone's parade but I don't see how this would be even remotely feasible or sensible. The Chiltern line to Wembley Stadium isn't even electrified so couldn't take c2c trains even if they could somehow get there from the other side of London. Wembley Central perhaps more doable, via some circuitous route, but not sure you could terminate there.

In any case, the better solution would be to just ramp up the Chiltern service from Marylebone (which we can still get to just fine), which of course they're doing substantially already, and no doubt pressure is being put on them to do more.

Cardiff wasn't electrified when we ran trains directly to there. It doesn't need to be a "c2c train", is what I'm saying.

But I do tend to agree this is unlikely given that it's a relatively short journey.

I much prefer sitting as close to the half way line as possible. What if the first blocks they offer are behind the goals?! I’ll have a dilemma whether to just grab tickets if I can or hold out for other blocks to open….

It’s probably down to plod and safety. Southend v Oldham will be the organisers worst case scenario - anyone against FGR would be their dream - just open up one block for FGR. Quite frankly they should just abandon Wembley - whoever thought building the new National Stadium there was bonkers- and move the match to Villa Park.
Really. I'd have thought they'd want us and Oldham, as hiring Wembley won't be cheap for them. The more cash they can generate, the better.
Moving the match to Villa Park would make no sense. Between us and Oldham, it would be over subscribed and all the players will relish walking out at the national stadium. That's their reward.

I personally believe we could sell 25k plus. Oldham would probably bring a significant amount.
I would be surprised if 50k plus don’t attend the final.
So many part time and full time supporters will want to witness our great journey . 12 months ago we was looking at extinction, now we have every chance of league football. What a fairytale this is turning into.
The Wrexham story looks boring and mundane compared to our last 4 years or so.
I will be in attendance with my son and granddaughters ( who are both footy mad ) . We just have a modest journey of 200 miles from Devon. I just hope my sciatica allows me to survive the journey and the football ⚽
Good luck to everyone going to Wembley and safe journeys.
I'll be travelling from Somerset hoping the trains are running to time

Can’t see the powers that be being willing to deny themselves of potentially 20,000 sold tickets. It’s not unlikely that there’s 50-55K coming to Wembley for this game across the two sides here.

At 30 quid a pop we are talking billions of lost revenue.
