Personally - I think every supporter should make a stand and just boycott the match. Let them play in front of an empty stadium. It’s the only way the people who purport to run the game can be taught a lesson. Sadly they continue to take supporters as complete mugs. Captive audience etc and our devotion to the club let’s them get away with their corruption.

Have you guys been capped on numbers? We have a limit of 17,500 ticket only and a maximum of 9,000 more if they are booked with coach travel…so the question is how many coaches the club can find! So far only 50 so around 2,500

It’s an absolute **** show with season ticket holders limited to 4 pp when loads had family and friends looking to join the party.

Indeed I would have bet my house that we would have smashed the non league final attendance record!! MONEY LEFT ON THE TABLE!!!!

You can't boycott as then your just giving the FA and other people in power the excuse to treat lower league teams with such ****tery. Your two teams in the 10s of thousands need to show them that grassroots football is loved by the real fans!

Exactly this. No thought has gone into how close we are to London compared with Oldham. 50k should be the minimum initial target.

We have a good number of fans who already live in London to boot!

See above - if you're booked on ShrimpersTrust (and Blues on Tour?) email the club to let them know and then you won't be in the 17.5k allocation.


Although wouldn't it be simplier if the Trust and BOT just told the club how many seats they've sold????

The Trust and BoT coaches were not
Included in the Clubs 28 coaches comms.

The Trust have sold 10 coaches and BoT have sold 1.

We also have many others booked waiting to be filled.

People on these coaches are not guarantee a ticket but the capacity on our coaches will increase the total allocation size.

If anyone else has pub coaches or minibuses etc these can also be used to increase the total Southend allocation permitted.

I think the club will work their nuts off to get more tickets, especially if these initial ones sell out quickly (which they likely will)

It's a shame the staff have the stress of this as well! Never easy is it!

I was on one of the coaches that we took to the LDV Vans Trophy Final back in 2005. How many coaches did we take to Cardiff back then? I know there was a month lead into the final. But they must be out there somewhere?

The club must be fairly confident on getting more, because I can't work out why they have allocated STs 4 each, surely they would of done 1 or 2 per season ticket? Either that or it's less hassle for the club letting STs sort it

I don’t understand the safety argument, it’s complete nonsense.

Spurs have a 60,000 ground which is very poorly served by public transport - that’s fine.

Twickenham holds 80,000 and is served by just ONE station - and that’s also fine.

So Wembley with Bakerloo and overground trains still running (at possibly an enhanced service) can’t take more than 35,000 fans? Give me a break…

Hi all, hope you're well and excited for Wembley after a quite incredible last two games. Just wanted to thank the club for an invite, I'll be there to cheer Kev, Benno, Daz and the boys on very loudly indeed.

In the dark times of 3 or 4 years ago I bought the 3 amigos a ticket each for Liverpool's League Cup final v Chelsea, primarily to get away from the stresses and strains of the time with a little bit of fun with each other on a day off. They had a lovely time and hopefully it was one of a thousand experiences they've had together which culminates in them, not Liverpool or Chelsea in the dugout and pitch on June 1st. How cool is that!

A sincere thanks to Rylee, Tom and Consortium for thinking of me, it's very much appreciated.

See you at Wembley for one last dance.

I am so glad that you have been remembered, after all it was you that put the three Amigo's together and what a fantastic job they have done.

Well there will need to be a way to move seats- this is not so difficult- probably will need to be done over the phone with the ticket office. I am convinced that the story is building out there and more tickets will appear

I can never remember a domestic football season still going on into June. These works were no doubt scheduled in due to it being an off peak period in the football calendar.

Lost respect for the police recently, but surely someone there still has enough sense to realise that thousands of desperate fans converging on the stadium WITHOUT a ticket will cause more problems than they are trying to avoid?

The Trust message said contact the club if you have a coach booking or arranging your own mini-bus etc. How many "mini buses" can we muster up between us? What evidence do they need to see?

I'd already booked and paid for a parking ticket at Wembley (yes, I know the cost) to bring my two grandsons up from Sussex. We've been to quite a few games at Roots Hall every season, and used hospitality there, but we're not season ticket holders as we can't get to all the games. Looks like we may be screwed. I've sent Sadiq Khan a private message along with his secretary as I've communicated with both in the past. Also posted on X and will pull a favour or two from one or two broadcasters.

It's a simple narrative for Oldham and Southend. "Big" clubs aren't hampered like this so treat both clubs same as them and let you guys have your day at Wembley, allowed to "fill the place" too.

There's plenty of avenues to go down, worry not, it can and will be highlighted plenty in the next week.

Great work. As I mentioned earlier, I had to book flights as capacity was limited (1seat left) and I rather recklessly booked accommodation (non refundable) for the 3nights back in the Uk. The wife is already giving me grief for my irrational behaviour when it comes to all things Southend United and my excuse of “it’s at Wembley it will never sell out” is now ringing a bit hollow.
