Wembley tickets

I’ve been on such a high for the last week but this has brought me crashing back to earth.

On the journey back from Forest Green I had 14 requests for tickets from family. This was going to be our biggest family get together since Covid. Three generations all getting together and watching the game together after what has been a tough year. That was why Wembley was going to be so special. This is why so many of us fought to keep the club going because of its ability to do this.

Now I’m going to get a ticket as I’m a season ticket holder, I’ll get one for my dad who booked flights right after the game and two other family members but it’s not going to be my whole family. I may even be able to source some extra tickets when they go on general sale but even if I can we won’t be able to sit together and share the experience as a family.

The National League and the Met Police have robbed me of this moment and they’ve robbed countless other fans of their moments be it with family, friends, schoolmates, teammates or colleagues.

They’ve ruined it for us.
This is almost identical to my situation and there are very similar posts on our forum. My brother is flying in from the US and faces the real possibility of a wasted trip and £1000 down the drain. We had a group of ten lined up. All ruined. It is an utter disgrace and symptomatic of the way this country has gone.

Not sure if covered or it’s wait and see.

I have a ST and so has my daughter - both tickets are under my acct.

Would I be able to buy 4 or 8?

I really hope this crappy scenario is sorted out correctly and TFL / MET Police get their arse in gear and manage crowds properly. I hate this tin pot league

Just ****ed off last night working out how to get tickets for 15 family and friends with 2 season tickets so we can sit together. This morning I am incandescent at the incompetence of our capital city and as someone whose mother was from Wembley absolutely ****ed off at the bollocks being spouted by TFL. Health and safety my arse. Nearest tube and walk. It’s what this Mayor wants us to do. Absolutely pathetic.

I reckon you’ll be able to buy 8. Don’t think it’ll matter they’re both under your name as it should be 4 tickets per ST.

Thanks for getting the extract from the minutes. It very much appears to me to be a deliberate oversight. Once, maybe accidental, twice careless, three + deliberate.

I do think a membership scheme is coming which may well replace priority ticket rights for season tickets and shareholders.
Season Ticket holders are the bread and butter of every club. They'll always get priority first and rightly so.

A season ticket is an annual membership at about £400.

I’m a season ticket holder. I can get to about 15 games a season. But rather than buying individual tickets for less overall, I’m happy for the club to have the extra few quid as a donation.
