Question What is making you happy today?

Is Tangled the most despised poster since FM13? Is Tangled FM13?

Theresa May has a tough act to follow as my impression is that Cameron pre-Brexit was liked by many who may not have liked his party policies. She has started well though by getting rid of Osborne and in a stroke of genius appointing Boris as foreign secretary

Doesn't mean a lot, even Gordon Brown started well. I think it lasted a week.

Leaving do this afternoon for a chap I've not seen for 16 years, but we had some times but when the call comes..... Romford here I come!

Oh yeah, been up since about 5:15 so probably be tucked up in my bed by 9. :stunned:

Ha ha, I like Tangled, he has his moments and is a real wind up poster who often shoots both his feet and puts them in his mouth while talking out of his bum, but Viva La Diversity comrade ORM.

Cammie is, was, will be, a silver spoon knob, nice enough bloke but a toff twit who has shown that when the going gets tough he throws his teddy.

TM is a tough cookie, resolute, and up for a fight. She has the balls to make the big calls although she needs to be reined in or she will carry on and carry on at a plan when all know it isn't going to work, and BJ at the FO might be one of those ideas.

my youngest is the same, desperate to go to Italy for the spag bol. Sorrento's on our list - let us know what it's like.
My brother has just got back, said it was amazing, Lovely people all the locals so friendly food was great and the sights are amazing, only thing he did say is it's a bit commercialised not as easy as he thought it would be to get authentic Italian food, a lot of burgers and chips and steaks but if you can find a traditional restaurant you're in for a treat.

Took a new driver out today. A bit bitey but he is from Transylvania. He thought I was only about 40 years old. He's my new best friend.

Apologies for the smug dad post but...school reports for my two came back today. Absolutely top notch, the pair of them.

That's what dad's are ment to do. Same here for my boy, 1's & 2's across the board. Christ knows where he gets it from because it can't be me. Thinking about it we haven't paid for a pint of milk in years.

Apart from the simply glorious weather this weekend (July is HK wettest month of the year) some things never cease to make me laugh. I've covered roundabouts before. They just don't get it over here. Anything goes, indicators are rare and being in the left lane to do a right turn with no indicators at all seems to be a badge of honour. Zebra crossings are rare here but are a left over from colonial days and look exactly as they do in UK. That's where the similarity ends. In HK drivers speed up for them and they may as well just not be there.

Just been reminded of my all time favourite, traffic lights. Very similar to UK except their equivalent of pelican crossings make up less than 5% of all crossings. Though jaywalking is not a crime most locals will wait for the signals to change. What they fail to appreciate though is that for these 5% of crossing you need to press the button. I kid you not they will stand there for ages on an empty road waiting for the green man that never comes before either realising there is a button or just taking the plunge. Usually if I am crossing at one and there are a crowd of people waiting I will point out in the traditional English way that you need to press the fkn button!!! Then make an exhibit of bashing the button. Makes me feel better anyway ha ha

Its the same in the UK.

Packing my camera kit for a photo shoot around Neolithic Wiltshire tomorrow. The 5am start is NOT making me happy, but I've always wanted to visit Avebury and Silbury Hill so very happy to finally be going, and the weather is looking great too.

I have just had the re-heated remnants of yesterdays Zafran Indian take-away (opp Chalkwell Park) and while it had good flavours yesterday, today it tastes even better.

I always find that left over doner kebab from the night before tastes better for breakfast the day after .
