Question What is making you happy today?

We are down there next week, lovely place I believe, any recommendations for food/pub?

Loads of decent pubs. The Mermaid Inn is the most haunted and has a lot of history. The George on the High Street does a decent lunch. Loads of chippys as well if you want a takeout. Stay in the old town, can't go wrong.

Love Rye! Have a mooch around the antiques area before you go up to the main bit of the old town. The Ship pub down in that area is good too. Oh, and it's mainly cobbles in the old town so no high heels, lol! We ate in the Mermaid when we stayed a few years ago, which was excellent.

Never heard of this and had to Google it, hope you're getting the treatment required.

Thank you, I see a clinical psychologist on Wednesday. I am going to ask him where my school psychologist was 39 years ago. Traumatized children will attend school tomorrow and there will be nobody there picking up on their trauma. Later in life some will commit suicide and some will have needles and medication forced into them. I have spent just under 7 years researching why this is happening.

Made a large batch of man sized shepherd's pies this morning.

My 4 year old son is offended by this and thinks you should call them large sized Shepard’s pies because he’s a little snowflake ****!

Drove past the Red Beret in Chelmsford.

Looks like the type of old school flat roofed fighting pub that is part of our Essex heritage.

Can other members recommend any unwelcoming looking pubs across the region?

Striking TFL workers.

God bless you all.

I work from home most days anyway but tomorrow I am going to try The Hive in Southend who are offering free desk space and WiFi.
