Why are Southend United considering going cashless?

I know a thread has already been started about the Pre-Pay cards in the West Stand that the club have sent us a letter about, but am I the only one who sees the ironic humour in this question; which was the first thing your eyes are drawn towards in the letter?!?!

I'm sorry, but I had to laugh!

I'm pretty sure it's a bit late to think about going cashless, isnt it Ron? I think we've been cashless for a while now!!!!

What amazes me is that the club are spending money on implementing the cashless system when they are scrimping to pay players wages. Since when was the cashless system a necessity to the club, oh thats right........its NOT!!! So good to see they have their priorities right!!!
