Sturrock didn't reveal too much in his interview but said that Tommy wasn't at the game due to personal circumstances that should be sorted in a day or two. :unsure:
At least the rumour has given us something to mass debate on the Zone tonight.
Widdrington not there and the shackles come off the players. Coincidence?
According to a SUFC spokesman in this mornings Echo there's no truth in this. Which probably means it is.
Players were informed by Sturrock just before kick off (indeed some heard the rumour on the coach to the ground) that Widdrington has left. This has come directly from one of the coaches.
Wonder if this is akin to "Brush-gate".
Getting rid of the assistant and hoping the main man walks?...
Didn't quite work out that way with Brush and Tilly though, did it?
