He's in the shop window and we don't have the money to buy him or pay his wage demands, which would exceed our limit by some considerable amount.

So the answer to the question posed is NO, I don't see him signing. :sad:
 
We don't need to 'buy' him as he'd be on a free transfer.

If there were teams queuing up to match anything like his present wage then Coventry would have been able to get rid of him at the start of the season when they wanted to and not an hour before the final window shut.
 
If we go up I think we'll sign Freddy. If not my guess is he'll sign a one or two year deal somewhere in L1. He's always said he wanted to come back one day and if he leaves in the summer I still think there's a chance that could happen in a couple of years.

Let's hope we can get ourselves into L1, if we do I'll be surprised if Eastwood doesn't stay.
