As much as Brown is coming under fire on here ( and I do agree that most of it is justified ) , he will not be offered a job higher up the league unless he does well with us - the two are definitely linked IMO.
So whilst he has to improve ( on and off the pitch ) , it certainly wont be for lack of trying.
Brown will have ambitions to manage higher , but if he mucks up here , then he wont get that chance.
 
More chance of him getting the Bolton job when Dougie Freeman gets the chop ,,, possible job swap ?
 
Phil Brown 200/1 he won't becoming Sunderland manager.
