interesting article I thought. I was genuinely surprised, I can honestly say I never knew this sort of thing happened in the World Cup, i mean ive never thought about the competition that way before, i kind of saw it as above the money issues that surround football, thats a hell of a lot of money if you win!

against the whole spirit & glory of the tournament? or just a reality. cash is king?
