Has anyone been watching this year? So far no big upsets but hopefully it'll get a bit more interesting in R2/R3.

The tournament after Christmas will be so much better for not having upsets anyway. I'm hoping there aren't any and we have a stacked Round 3 lineup and beyond.

Will be going to the afternoon session tomorrow. Lineup is as follows

John O’Shea v Darius Labanauskas (R1)
Martijn Kleermaker v Xicheng Han (R1)
Callan Rydz v Josh Rock (R2)
Dave Chisnall v Andrew Gilding (R2)

Looking forward to the Rydz vs Rock in particular. Two top young players.

Labanauskas has hit a 9 darter before too, maybe he'll treat us to one again?

well almost the whole Ally Pally crowd were constantly booing and jeering him
I see what you mean now. I'm all for a lively crowd but the boos and jeers towards any opposition go way too far whenever Sherrock takes the stage. There should remain a degree of respect in the game. Good on Evans for sticking through it and winning

Great afternoon session today, back home in time for the evening session on Sky now!

Do you mainly watch the board on the (big) screen(s)?
Depends on where you're seated. We were in the front row block B seats, so the screen was the best way of watching.

Those in the tables halfway towards the stage or closer could watch the game quite easily without the screens.
