September 4th was 120.Any idea how many we've sold?
September 4th was 120.
Probably 500 max will attend
That’s hardly low ….I'd be very surprised if it was that low.
Any easy way into town? Wouldn't mind checking it out

I think Rochdale had 900 on the side? Might be wrong thoIt is for us.
Nice city to visit and excellent weekender. Decent time of year. The end could be near. Plenty doing away games only and skipping home games. Good will towards York city FC and it's fans for backing us.
I wonder how many we have to sell in order to be behind the goal?

Easy journey, day out from the area they reside in. York attracts mega numbers of visitors, it's a lovely City. Who would go to Rochdale for a day out?.862 exactly
Agree with this. The P&R is the best way to get back into town after the match. Saturday night can get pretty busy with stag and hen do’s so if you are planning on eating in town it might be worth booking if you can. For a geographically small city there are loads of places to eat and drink but can recommend the following:Jump on the park and ride right next to the stadium, will drop you off in the centre.
Also if coming by train bear in mind that if you like a couple of beers on the train back, York Station was dry last year because of the stag/hen situation. So buy them in advance of getting to the station and secrete them covertly upon your person!Agree with this. The P&R is the best way to get back into town after the match. Cosy Club on Fossgate
The Hop on Fossgate (real ale and pizza!)
House of Trembling Madness on Lendal
The Maltings on Museum St (real ale)
York Tap at the railway station (real ale)
Shambles food court (worth a visit on Sunday if you’re staying over. Recommend Los Moros.)
Fat Hippo on Petergate (prepare for a coronary!)
Phranakhon just off Grape Lane. Thai Tapas. If you can get in then well worth it.
There are loads of others and you can’t really go too wrong.

There’s Mumbai Lounge directly opposite CC which is good and a decent Nepalese restaurant called Everest Gurkha also on Fossgate, just turn right coming out of CC.Thanks for the info. I've booked the cosy club on the Friday night. Love the one in Norwich.
Any recommendations for an Indian on the Saturday?
Cheers
The recommendations above are both good. There is also The Yak and Yeti on Goodramgate (Nepalese), Bab Tooma which is right next door to the Y&Y (Middle Eastern cuisine) or my personal favourite, Los Moros (North African) on Grape Lane. Honourable mentions to Bengal Brasserie (Goodramgate) and Coconut Lagoon (South Indian cuisine) on Clarence St (near York St John University outside the city walls). Thanks for the info.
