9 Billion....hmmm buy Wet Spam and turn it into a carpark. That's a good cause innit? :)
 
9 billion? That's a lot of 3rd world problems solved. (And before you ask, no I wouldn't invest a great deal of it in Orient).
 
What you have got to wonder is will the revnue that the Olympics brings in come anywhere close to the amount spent to make England ready for the 2012 Olympics!!!
 
Nowhere near. WSC had a feature in their April 2007 issue about the aftermath of holding a major tournament and observed that many of the multi-million pound stadiums in Portugal, Germany, Japan and Korea are either closed permanently or hosting crowds of less than 2,000 for Tier IV games.
