A few pretty dull and very nervy friendlies are over. Some have cemented their place on the flight. Others have earned themselves a month infront of the T.V. with the rest of us.

Very disappointed not to see Scott Parker given any match time in the friendlies, an outstanding player who I think would be a brilliant addition to the squad. Might be a little short defensively, but don't want to see Upson or Baines on the flight.

Less than two weeks to go, can't wait!!

That's my prediction, although that final midfield spot could easily be Huddlestone, or even Adam Johnson if he sees King and Milner as genuine cover for the holding position. Scott Parker would be a wild-card selection but you just can't see it after he didn't get a minute of either friendly.

I think he'll only go for the four strikers, with Joe Cole, Gerrard, SWP & Walcott all capable of playing further forward if needed.

No definite time, just before midnight I believe.
I agree with Beefy, there will be 4 strikers with Cole, Gerrard able to play behind Rooney. I would leave Dawson, Baines, Upson, Carrick, Parker, Bent and Walcott behind. Theo has done nothing since Croatia game, Lennon or even Wright Phillips would be far more potent down the flanks. Think you need a left footer too so would take Johnson, could be a secret weapon as most opponents would not have seen him much.
