Can someone please ask for it to be on the 26th so I can make it home from singapore ???!! I fly back on the 25th :-(
I think overall its a good draw.Could have been better but could have been a lot worse.Bit of added spice with it being Brown"s ex club.TV revenue would come in handy but i am sure it will be a great occasion at Roots Hall
Can't believe the general reaction on here. This is a great draw!
We have a Prem team at home with a chance of winning and of course the Phil Brown link to spice things up.
This is almost a CERT to be a live game.

This is how I feel.
As the draw was being made I was getting excited because a lot of the annoying CCC teams had already gone and it was looking good.
Didn't even realise Hull were in the Prem. Still meh.
Windfall's not necessarily all that massive - did you see Sunderland and Villa's grounds were barely half full, and that was with lower ticket prices than normal! If you get one of the bigger clubs away you get a massive windfall that would have had a big impact, unfortunately Hull at home isnt going to have the same effect, thats why its still pretty underwhelming.

To put it another way, this weekend we had a juicy 3rd round home tie against a relatively local side from two divisions above us and we still had 30% of our ground to fill, even with lower ticket prices than normal.
If we'd been playing St Albans City at home in round 2, we'd have barely scraped 5,000. I don't imagine most Premiershite fans would turn out in droves for what is in effect their second round tie for a match against the likes of us. The only exceptions to that are when you're playing a club whose ticket sales are normally over-subscribed, where people will snap up tickets for a game against the likes of us simply cos it's their only chance to see their team. I'd only put Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal in that bracket.
Getting Hull at home isnt, its ok and better than getting a championship side, but not much.
Oh stop whinging and buy a ticket you tart.
Anyone who doesn't fancy going can babysit my kids instead.
If you're going to insult me, please spell it right. :raspberry:
Asw you say if get Man Utd/Liverpool/Spurs/Arsenal/Chelsea and youll get a big crowd, and they are the ones that you want to get and Id class as a great draw.

I mean your club no disrespect, but you get to play at The Emirates/Anfield etc at least once a year.
To be fair, we get to travel to exotic places like Morecambe, Accrington and Mansfield. :winking:
