I reckon that this marathon before signing must have revolved round a two year deal rather than one. Is he worth it? This season will tell us I think. Lose the beard eh Gary.
PM me your address and i'll send you a complimentary Col Ewe season ticket, SUFC can do no right in your eyes so maybe it's time to move on ? #JustAskingCracking signing, some may think he is ok, but cracking... The players we have had over the years, come on.... You are winding us up.
Yeah same here as thought club would only offer a one year deal to him, glad he has signed tho so maybe he insisted on a two year deal in the first place.
Fair point, but Payne is a long way from a regular ball winner.
thank god, agree..agreeAm I the only one who can't see the Maher comparison, for me Maher's number one attribute was calming things down and getting the ball on the deck when it was up in the air, he had a very good touch and a great composure on the ball. I don't see those qualities in Deegan. He is a very average footballer and I think those that see him as more than a spoiler are a little deluded.

No you're not. I see few similarities between the two players.
Deegan will also pick up more cards against better players in League One, and bearing in mind he picked up 10 yellows and 1 red in just 26 appearances in League Two, this could be a problem.
Two years ? I hope he's cheap.
