Euro 2016

Well I think it's safe to say France completely dominated that 2nd half & Ireland were lucky to lose just 2-1. Should we get through to the next round, we have a fair bit to be worried about, based on their 2nd half performance (granted were down to 10 men) but they opened them up all over the pitch from pretty much the re-start.

Brave performance by the Irish, thought France look very good going forward, but their defence is as vulnerable as ours - good news is Kante is now suspended. I think we can easily match the French, they leave a lot of space at the back when they push forward, this is presuming we beat Iceland, surely we cannot mess that up.. Can we?

As well as Kante, I believe their defender Rami is also suspended for the next match.

Gary Cahill is currently our only England player that could miss out on the potential France game, should he get booked again tomorrow night.

Thank god for that. Couldn't have stood anymore arsehole licking of the commentators about how everyone loves the Irish. Try being married to one, then tell me everyone loves them.

I've never understood the Worldwide fawning over the Irish by so many. Gets my goat every St Patrick's Day when hoards of geezers without a hint of Irish blood in them feel the need to don a stupid huge green hat and go drink **** Guinness in a **** Irish pub. They don't celebrate any other national days, not even their own, so why?

Go to the Tralee Rose festival and have a lock in and then you might have an idea why the Irish can be very engaging.:winking:

Am I alone in hoping whoever wins out of Belguim and Hungary knocks out Wales. Gareth Bale and the whole best player of the tournament hype is start to get boring. I personally think Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey have played better than Bale this tournament.

To be honest in all reality, I think anyone one of those 2 teams will knock out Wales.

My biggest gripe so far is the fact that either Poland or Portugal will make it into the semi final's, and quite frankly both of them probably didnt deserve to make it out of the group stages in my opinion, let alone into the last 4.

and Guinness use St Patrick's day as a huge marketing tool so get us English chumps to go out and celebrate it.. Personally I don't like and Guiness and don't celebrate St Irish day...

Then in again I don't go out and celebrate St Georges day either :-(

Much as it pains me to type this, the Germans are looking really tasty against Slovakia.

Took the Germans 8 minutes to do what England could not do the whole game, imo,if we played 180 mins, could not do..
So now Hodgson Must get it right..v Iceland dont think it will be that much different ,tactics both teams, but lets hope an early goal for us.dread to think if they score first.
A good win v Iceland,by 3.and then we will be "up" for the French.

With the right tactics and a bit of luck...or no bad luck..the Germans will be beaten...they are not as good as they look-think:smile:
They are very worried about Italy

I know he can't help his features, but Martin Skrtel makes Wayne Rooney look mildly hansome. Only a mother could love that!

So the only teams NOT to beat this poor Slovakia was a very, very poor Russian team and ROYS !!!!

On the other hand Germany are to moving into gear and looking their old efficient selves. France were entertaining but will need to up their game......always look good going forward but a better team would have punished their defensive lapses. France v England..........you can bet on it!.............and I would have put my money on a remain victory!!! :winking:
