Me too, does anyone remember if they let us sit where we like rather than use the allocated row and seat number.
I think they tried to make us sit in allocated seats last year but a lot of people won't anyway so you should be fine to move to somewhere different if you don't like where your allocated seat is.

Those willing to walk ten minutes can find the Will Adams which is a decent pub, and the more adventurous could try the Past and Present micropub off the High Street.

The Fleur de Lis is ****.

Has anyone be to the Cricketers before? Its the closest one to the ground that I can see, is at a home fans pub?

EDIT - Just looked on the website, it is a home fans pub.

Hi another Gills fan here.

More info on the Brian Moore Stand, the name was given to that end when it was scheduled to be built into a spanking new stand, the plans were even printed in our matchday programme! However there was an overspend on the Medway Stand and the club ran out of money.

As you have to have an all seater stadium in the Championship after a certain number of years (don't know what Burton Albion will do if they stay there for a while!) the club took the decision to use a "temporary" stand.

A couple of years ago Scally was refused planning permission to put a roof over the Brian Moore stand because it is classed as temporary!

Of course we are still hoping to move to a new stadium at some stage!

More parking info - there are plenty of side roads about 10-15 minute walk from the stadium off Barnsole Road. Parking here means you don't have to cross the railway line to get to the ground.

There is a pay and display car park off Balmoral Road and another in Railway Street.

The old away pub was the Livingstone Arms but this is now a McDoody's burger place.

Enjoy the game.

Might do that then.

1,600 as of last night, adding into today's ticket sales, I would imagine 1,700 is easily possible come kick off tomorrow at 3pm.
