harsh to judge smith on daggers game for me. wasnt he injured for most of pre season and never played a game? keepers need to get their eye in more than most and he'd probably only played 2/3 development type games by the daggers game.

this kind of thing frustrates me also - what was the point?

I don't know what Laird did wrong, but like I said on another thread a few days ago, the club wanted rid of him.

Laird leaving is an absolute crime! Such a good player at this level and will stroll into another league 2 midfield and just watch him succeed

He's out of contract so why wouldn't we be negotiating with him. Looking too much into this.
