Leon Clarke

Leon Clarke seems to be one of them players who for one reason or another is wasting their talent.Should be a force in the championship with the right application.

If only we could have kept him and harnessed his potential. If he lost a few pounds and applied himself he would be a top Championship striker

There's a clip on sky sports news of DiCanio and Clarke having a scrap in the tunnel after swindons game tonight!

Refused to go into changing rooms and changed in the corner of the pitch after someone brought his clothes out LOL

Di canio will be gone by christmas, he is falling foul of the brilliant players dont always make brilliant managers rule. He was an excellent player, skillful, supremely fit etc, he (like many before him) doesnt seem to understand that players in league two are not as good as he was or has the football brain he does. The likes of bobby charlton, nobby stiles, roy keane have tried and failed in management. Swindon have got some good players in but the nutty little italian seems to be struggling with em.

Looks like he is still the same too big for his boots player that he always was...

I personally think he done the right thing di-canio is a loon make no mistake and he was being very aggressive, clarke did not want to be stuck in a confined space with him and i dont blame him, I read di-canios autobiography brilliant read btw, he used to be a genuine lazio hooligan.

Think he has a point to prove though, di Canio handled him - literally - all wrong.

Clarke probably feels that every manager he's played under had handled him wrong. I don't think he's ever left a team with a managers blessing, the guy is a talented footballer but a complete idiot. We were wise to get rid.
