Hunt was more porcelain than ever Barnard was. Great character and terrific football brain but fragile as hell. Think it's been quite disrespectful not to have even bothered to let the club know - either himself or his agent - that he's not interested in any offer they've put forward.

He is trying to keep his options open in case he can't find anything else, just like we are by saying we are still in discussions. Supposedly not on trial at Portsmouth per Paul Cook but playing to keep fit (and visible no doubt). Reality is we will have found alternatives (probably) and that will be that.

We released him, and then started negotiating a new deal. Why wouldn't he feel he has the right to put himself about?

No you didn't. You got a shorter ban for continual trolling which was later extended due to you generally acting the **** despite warnings. If we genuinely banned people for bad mouthing the club, most of us would have been banned at some stage as, let's face it, they often give us plenty of ammunition. You post here as a guest of the owners. Now stop ****ing on the carpet and get involved sensibly in the debate or you'll be put back on moderated posts and banned again. Choice is 100% yours.

Do you suggest that we ban all posters who suggest players may go out drinking?

Where ever he goes it might find it best not to report for duty unfit through drink. He will find your more likely not to be dropped or fall out with managers.

None of us know what he has/had not said to the club. We only see Browns summaries .

If they claim to have seen players and the manager in the same place on numerous times and on certain nights that I know for a fact they weren't. Then yes.

You tell him Kev - everyone has an opinion to give and to be listened to.

We welcome all opinions, positive and negative, the board serves no purpose without both.

What we do not welcome is poor behaviour. Posting negative comments is fine, posting them in a trolling/annoying/abusive manner is not.

By all means criticse the club/team/ Brown , but doing so whilst showing others a little respect will keep you a long way from being on the moderated list.

Anyone who thinks we dont allow negative comments about the club and that it leads to a ban hasn't read any of Cricko's posts!
