I'm assuming you'll be just as outraged when the other party leaders are attacked during this election campaign?

If they are physically attacked in the street then yes,you assume correctly. A political kicking in a television or radio studio is perfectly acceptable.

(quote= Genial Harry Grout;George Galloway
Kindly post your commiserations to poor old George. Couldn't have happened to a nicer chap.

http://news.sky.com/story/1327097/ge...-street-attack

But, but it's from a frothing at the mouth left wing paper, so it must be true. Anyway, I digress, you forgot to mention your preference. Holocaust denial, rape or cozy chats with uncle Saddam.?

The plain fact remains, that you clearly approved of the violent attack in the street by a member of the public on George Galloway.

Indeed, you even started a thread on SZ specifically for that purpose, while later agreeing that you would be just as outraged if any other party leader were to be attacked in a public place as Farage was.

That's hypocrisy.No two ways about it.You're a hypocrite.

So tell me, holocaust denial, rape or cozy chats with uncle Saddam, you seem a little vague on the matter.

To alter the way this thread is running, I see we have the delightful Mr Farage back in Castle Point on 11th April

That is a pity, my understanding of Mr Hurrell is that he is a real local man who has strong and honest views. Certainly UKIP's loss however I hope he stays on as a fully independent Councillor.

if he is asked about breastfeeding in public and he gives an answer that is un-statesmen-like then as a party leader he should expect that to be brought up as evidence that he is not a good example of a statesman. If by giving a truthful answer (singular) he highlights himself as being stuck in the past its probably not such an amazing trait

So by implication from your above quote, you'd be happy to see politicians conceal the truth; or even lie?

you must love Miliband and his "home" shots in the kitchenette. Can't have the voters seeing the truth - that he would be the only leader suffering the mansion tax. Who'd have thought that the North London "Yorkshireman" was a bullshitting champagne socialist?

So left-wing protesters do a conga through a pub where farage is having a meal. He blows up the story, talking about physical assault and his kids running off scared, although there's little evidence to support that and contradictory reports.

And then miliband gets pushed and shoved by right wing protesters, and miliband plays the story down and it gets little coverage.

Say what you want about miliband but at least he's trying not to be divisive and stir things.

Farage is a ********.

Didn't look much like a conga while jumping all over his car. And where are these conflicting reports coming from anyway. As for Milliband being jostled, l genuinely haven't heard about that and if he was touched then that's bang out of order to.

Farage might be a **** in your eyes but Milliband will always be a **** in the eyes of more if he gets power and for fills what his father dreamed of. A socialist utopia of misery and despair.

Not at all. I just think that if his honest answer is to express an opion that was out of date in the 70's then he should be judged as someone who holds opinions that were out of date in the 70's. Admitting to being behind the times does not shine a positive light on him.

Milliband is bringing in a tax that would hit him in the pocket then? What could be more 'in it together' than that?

Milliband has a whole manifesto to be judged on - why would you judge him on his Dad's political beliefs?

Fair point - it's a great way of showing that he is in touch with the "working class" populace. Just like the 6 (out of a total 6) Labour MP's who were found guilty of fiddling expenses.

A lovely bunch and I'll be delighted to open my wallet further for them.

You are a joke if you think pointing out some MPs in one party were involved in the expenses scandal reflects worse on them than the others. You know as well as everyone else does that MPs of all parties were caught up in that. If you want your posts to be taken seriously you need to not be so obviously blinkered. Waste of words.

What manifesto? He hasn't released a single policy on paper, just hints in front of selected audiences and scaremongering over that old favorite, the NHS. According to him, everything will be paid for by the 'Mansion Tax' those awful rich people and fresh air.

Labour's manifesto should be out next week, along with those of all the other parties-including UKIP's.

Meanwhile here's a link to some already published policies.

OK - please help me with the maths as I'm clearly missing something.

6 were found guilty.

6 were Labour MP's

To imply that there were also some guilty Tories / Lib Dems left over shows that your grasp of the numbers is as strong as Labours.
