there was a cup game at Man City Maine Road ground we had a few up there as well

Only about 600 .. which granted was a huge following from us at the time

i'm waiting for Creaky to regale us with tales of Spurs in 1921 when we took 10,000

Derby County Baseball Ground. F.A. Cup 5th round.1975-76 Season. The F.A. Cup was much more important in those days.
The crowd was 31,918. Quite a few Thousand were Southend.

Cambridge near the end of L2 promotions season, seem to remember we had half or even possibly more of the crowd!

I've been to most of the ones already mentioned, Everton, Wednesday, Mill Stad etc.

best bacon roll i ever had at a football match was at that cambridge game :D

Seem to recall we took a pretty large following to Forest in our L1 season (to see us lose) - 1,500+? We had almost 1,000 at Crawley not that long ago as well.

About 2300 IIRC, a week later we were at Port Vale and took more than 2000 less

935 and 915 at Crawley and Daggers thus far this season

In May 2010 I posted the following;

After the depressing away attendances of last season, here'e our 50 best turnouts of the last six years, and I bet you can't look down the list without a smile coming to your face as you remember the trips.

Lat year was depressing but this list is why we go away, the good times will return and we will return in numbers.

Quality find, DoDtS.

Lordy, I am a shameless glory hunter - for someone who sees my beloved Blues as infrequently as I do, I managed to be at almost half of the away games in the top 30 (with last night's game making it into the top 30 - impressive):

Of those, no. 1 was the best, and no. 7 the worst...!

All this talk of away attendances has got me thinking that we should arrange one away game a season, where we all make the effort to get to it. We set a target following and all do our best to plug it. We'll make it a party atmosphere as well and provide the things to do so.

I'll have a think and come up with something...

But at the moment I'm thinking Cheltenham on Sat Dec 10th or perhaps Northampton on Sat 14th Jan?
