So what do we think?

What's with all the Discussing? It's the right colour, it doesn't have polka dots, it isn't in cherry voltage and it looks like a Southend kit. Well done the club.

Its certainly not as bad as people are making out. I generally don't buy shirts nowadays so doesn't really bother me.

The long sleeve version is marginally better, although I still feel sick looking at it.

Surely this would have been a more popular shirt . . . ?

Plus its almost the same as the kit we wore a few years ago which I thought people liked ?

My only complaint is that it is too similar to a recent kit, and maybe thats why others are saying its horrible, ie its not what they wanted so it must therefore be horrible.

It does look shiny, however that might just be the photography...

Seems too similar to the last shirt we had with white sleeves a couple of seasons back, so although its ok I dont feel the urge to rush out and buy it. For what its worth I am one of the few that likes the pink shirt from last season so will probably wait to see what away shirt is on offer this year.

I actually quite like it and will be buying one. As for the blue, I personally preferred it when we went to Navy as it is much classier I think.

Nice to see us back in blue shorts as well.

Is it the photo angle or is it me - but Bomber looks like he has been eating quite a few pies over the last few weeks .......

Ha, yes they were my first thoughts too, not very flattering photos of either of our models.

I voted 'ok' but only just, not keen, particularly dislike the navy shorts and socks all too dark.
Also as others have said fabric appears to be very 'shiny' - not a good look imo.

If it is the same as Arsenal's kit last year, why cant we have a girls/ladies version? Arsenal always bring out a corresponding shirt for women - which means Nike must do one for this particular kit style?
Normally the ladies versions have a more flattering shape on the neck and chest - if they did a girls one might consider especially the away option, but wont be buying this one - so will stick with my ladies shirt from a a couple of year's ago.

As I said before I like the polo shirt type collar.

They have no chance do they

I like the England style one where it's much more of a rounded collar with the few buttons. The ones in the Nike range have a full on collar and no buttons which when running just flap about and look untidy.

I wore one for my Sunday league side and hated it.

I'll second that emotion ............ (was that a Japan song?)

Er, not Japan unless they covered it. It's Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, later a hit for The Supremes.

So, miracles and supremes..... must be a good omen for next season, regardless of our kit - which is OK-ish....
