You fell for it RHB!! You actually believed that this guy Turner exists??? Am laughing. PB has had you.
Turner indeed...Word on the street is that PB is looking at Turner being fit for the Charity Shield...should we make it!!

Word has it that Mr Brown certainly has a roving eye but I can tell you that my virtue is still intact thank you. Will it count as acceptable if Turner makes the bench on Tuesday?

You read my mind 4-2-3-1 only change i would make is Mclaughlin in in place of Yearwood and that line to read Cox ,wordsworth, McLaughlin, all 3 know how to score and can feed off of Ranger ,if Ranger tires or off form sub him with MAF.

Steven Taylor turned down a move to Doncaster Rovers for Peterborough, as always, had something to do with money. Most Rovers fans are relieved we didn't sign him. Got the speed and mobility of an OAP's mobility chair.

Surprised we didn't sign him then.

no no no its all wrong !!! this is a phil brown team you must have players out of postion its the only way.
I wonder if he has tried Oxley at centre forward

Loss, without a doubt, in fact when can we start predicting relegation??
About this time last year Barrett gave that dreaded press interview, wasn't it?

I do believe Brown will consider starting Matsuzaka if Turner is still not fit. He has impressed him with his attitude. I don't really care too much about anything else but please, for the love of God, let's have a left back playing at left back. And if that is Hendrie, let's please not get on his back and, instead, help him to get his confidence back - there is a good player in there, we saw it when he was here on loan. I firmly believe him and McLaughlin can get a great working relationship on that wing.

I think Hendrie’s been really harshly treated to be honest. He’s definitely had a couple of woeful performances. But we’ve been heavily beaten on more than one occasion this season with him sat on the bench unaffecting the score line. Kinda feels like some players can get away with the odd bad game and others get outcast for months.

He was also playing without a left midfielder in front of him so was given little or no protection! A fit McLaughlin will give Hendrie much more cover.

I agree with everything that has been said about Hendrie, he had a couple of below par games, but he's a specialist left back who has performed well previously for us and played 100 games in Scotland and enticed a premiership club to pay in excess of £1million for him a couple of years ago. He's still only 22 as well (although he always seems older than that to me).

The problem is if we play him at Left Back, what happens to Timlin (who seems to be a bit of a Brown favourite)? He either has to go 4-3-3, drop him or play one of the midfielders out of position. I assume McLaughlin will start on the left tonight which means one of Lenny, Wordsworth or Timlin playing the Atkinson "tucking-in" role on the right. For what it's worth, my line up would be as follows:

Oxley

Demitriou White Turner Hendrie

Bwomono Lenny Wordsworth McLaughlin

Ranger Cox

Subs: Bishop, Matsuzuaka, Timlin, Fortune, Yearwood, Wright, Ba

I'd echo others in saying we have to give Hendrie a chance to play himself out of his bad form and lack of confidence. If Timlin was playing well at left back then I'd understand it, but he's not.

With McGlash suspended, I would quite like to see Bridge get a shot in a wide role even if it's off the bench.

Hoping for a win, but have chosen to take my son to his football training rather than use our season tickets tonight - hope that's not a sign of how we'll feel for the rest of the season.

Be interesting to see what the crowd is.

Unfortunately I think a few others will do the same.

Champions league on the box too. Crowd will be low again tonight.

I don't have Sky or BT Sport, and I'm not a lover of Champions League football any more. So me and her are going to watch Southend United play Peterborough United at Roots Hall.

Might be tempted to tune in from Rhodes on ifollow. At least I won't have to worry about a vpn. Would be there if I wasn't on holiday. Will be back for Saturday though.

Can he or any of the lads he plays with play at CB?
