But it was handball. I don’t know if it was disallowed for offside, but definitely handball. Right decision for the goal not to stand.
So what you are saying is they made two shocking decisions not one and therefore by chance it’s ok… but they are at two levels. The handball, if it was, is just another missed foul or error amongst many, that happens at this level and we hope evens out. The changing of a decision for something else (that never was) under pressure was another…entirely?Looking at the video it's onside but it's handball....... in theory the goal shouldn't of stood anyway. Its a decent point against the best side in this league.
Warmed up a fair bit in front of the east stand but from where I was sitting he didn’t get any. Seemed quite happy at the final whistle to see the boys and had a chat with Kev. Don’t really think he deserved any flack though to be fair. No one can blame him for going when the salary on offer was probably life changing in what is a short career, and we seem to have used the Dalby money for Kasper so everyone’s a winner really.Did Dalby get much stick!?
I'm going by what iv seen on the video. The ball has struck the arm of southend player before it reaches Hyde who is onside. The officials have made poor judgment call interms of the decision they have given. If VAR was in the national league they would of disallowed it.So what you are saying is they made two shocking decisions not one and therefore by chance it’s ok… but they are at two levels. Agree. It’s tough. You have the Lopata’s who put playing regularly and enjoying it ahead of £ and level. Others have different priorities and you can’t blame them. You make your choice. I do wonder how the 57 minutes of football he has got this season so far will be developing him as a player. No doubt his chance will come.Warmed up a fair bit in front of the east stand but from where I was sitting he didn’t get any. The poor judgement call is re the handball perhaps (although VAR gets as much wrong as right so you never know) but what followed raises far more serious questions. If we had VAR would they have been down to 10 men for the short pull on Mooney? We don’t have VAR so it’s a moot point I guess.I'm going by what iv seen on the video. The most criminal thing about that? Not a single Southend player berating the referee after changing his mind. We are too nice.
By that time we had celebrated the goal at length and returned to our own half and were ready for the restart- but I agree. This is where you miss Demi :-)The most criminal thing about that? Not a single Southend player berating the referee after changing his mind. We are too nice.
I guess Dalby is a couple of years ahead of Lopata, having dropped into non league a couple of years ago, so the move for money now may make perfect sense. Lopata may be making a short term pain for long term gain financial decision. How do our wages compare with sheff u u21 wages anyway?Agree. It’s tough. The point is, there’s no VAR in the NL and the ref and lino (appeared to) see no handball, the lino didn’t flag initially and the chap with a whistle only ruled out the goal when Wrexham players complained en masse.I'm going by what iv seen on the video. The ball has struck the arm of southend player before it reaches Hyde who is onside. The officials have made poor judgment call interms of the decision they have given. Would it have picked up on your grammar? I loose it every time I see this written.I don’t want to defend the officials as they were pony, but VAR would of ruled the goal out for handball.

Sorry, but The assertion that it was a clear habdball is hugely debatable.I'm going by what iv seen on the video. The ball has struck the arm of southend player before it reaches Hyde who is onside. WREXHAM boss Phil Parkinson would have been disappointed if Jake Hyde’s goal had been allowed to stand.

I agree the goal isn't offside but it is handball before it reaches Hyde. The officials looked to have been swayed by the Wrexham players which is wrong. The officials are right to disallow the goal, just not for offside. The point is, there’s no VAR in the NL and the ref and lino (appeared to) see no handball, the lino didn’t flag initially and the chap with a whistle only ruled out the goal when Wrexham players complained en masse.
Should’ve stood .. you can’t change your mind if you’ve missed the handball to start with and can’t watch a video replay to double check what’s gone on! And it wasn’t offside, no chance.
