Perhaps no financial accounts have been issued for the past few years as we also haven't paid the Accountants and therefore they won't sign them off ?

Companies House is also losing patience as well as they’ve issued First Gazette notices to strike off three of Ron’s companies in the last week.
May be he’s looking for new accountants!

As an outsider these days, looks to me Ron is literally flat broke and has no means to support the club...... his flat outright refusal to sell up which has cost us previously and will now cost us going forward, that's if we aren't wound up in January. Southend disappearing won't affect Ron in his course to reach the jackpot. Maybe that's what he really wants. Credit to the management and players who continue to get results despite these ongoing issues.

Yes, I heard this today too and feel better commenting now that it is out in the open.

The youth team is in dialogue with the EFL, who have said there is no reason why anybody in the Academy should be going without pay for that long as the youth funding they give to the club arrives in the club's bank account on the 1st of the month. This suggests the club might be misusing EFL funding, and will be in the crosshairs of both the EFL and the VNL for doing so.

I think the Trust is also being lied to regarding whether wages are up to date outside of the first team.

The U16s are backing the U18s and refusing to step in for U18s matches whilst the U18s are on strike.

I despair.

Basically the youth set up etc is subsidised by the EFL and other associates, Ron Martin have been using that money specifically ring fenced to support the academies and youth set up, to fund his own building empire ( pretty much what he uses Southend United for) the EFL will not and are not putting up with it the club are under an investigation thay very much could involve points deduction should Ron not be able to appoint the money right back Into the proper channels that it’s been given to the club for … just remember he’s a fan like us you idiots …

True very dangerous coming out there today, l haven’t got a Cristal ball but reading tonight’s post how long can the club go on like this ? each match brings different stories , I’ve heard several stories of late or non payments to food & drinks suppliers so will not supply club with stock

Ron pretty much killed the club years ago, the fans have kept it going, running out in massive numbers home and away. Its truly heartbreaking supporting some rod Stewart wannabes pension fund. Really feel for all those out of pocket because of one mans folly. We are a fantastic club with one of the worst owners in football history

Strange club at the moment for the last 4 matches had to line up outside the shrimpers bar as it was 1 in 1 out as there were too many inside according to health & safety new rules, today got in after waiting 10 minutes and got the drinks for my mates who were arriving later but by this time the security guard at the door was letting no one in even though it was 2.40 and emptying so most potential customers walked away I then informed the bar manager who went out to find out what was happening, she asked security why he wasn't letting anyone in and he said he was told to stop people coming in, in the end she ordered him to let the customers in but many had already walked off. You would think we don't need the money

Yeah spot on. Heard he was using club money for his legal fees too but not sure how true that is.
