So will the bridging finance solve all the issues? And what happens if that runs out?

Depends how much the bridging finance is for. If it's just for HMRC, then no it doesn't solve the cash shortfall each month. If it's sized so that it meets all of our cash needs until, say, end of next season - then should be fine. Somewhere inbetween and then it depends on if there are further delays to the training ground/work starting on stadium

Cheers. Would be nice if it all gets sorted soon. But I’m pretty sure the players can block this all out and focus on the matches.

He may post some pretty unbelievable views at times, but the Zone is a more amusing place at times for his incisive critiques of our players, our chairman and our Club.

There are no shades of grey where Steve's concerned that's for sure.

That will be great news for any Trolls who never go to games anyway. I'm sure you must have spotted the obvious ones one here.

The bridging finance is supposed to really only solve one issue - tide us over until the development funds are released (which should then solve the rest).

I’m tempted to say how long / string etc - this could be a very long piece… but you have to say the training ground looks like a pucker job to be fair and as long as they keep going until it’s finished that should do the job and the funds could then release as the main stadium build should be able to start.

And if we get promoted and/or can generate some funds ourselves.

Would we generate more money in L2? Sure there would be increased tv income but we would have to improve the squad to stay up
Tom said we're losing £2million a year. That means we could get rid of all the playing staff and still be losing around £500k per year.

Remarkable and just goes to show what an unsustainable business that lower league football clubs are.

l would have thought that the club and its finances needs to be sorted out once and for all before promotion can even be considered.

Can you imagine a one season EFL return!!

Not just lower leagues, one look at Barcelona shows how out of hand football finances has got

Speaking from someone who has been there and spoken to those involved in the process. It is pucker! The quality will be incredible and nice for our team to finally have decent pitches to train on. Might even help with our players who get injured on a regular basis.

Tom stated that the sooner we get works started on the ground the sooner funds are released. Which in turn will help out the clubs current financial issues. He said that once we are in the stadium we will have a decent playing budget to challenge. He also said that all 4 sides of the ground will start at the same time, the main stand will just take longer. But we can move in with 3 stands complete.
