Cost of living increases

Even the BP garage in Westcliff on London Rd is down to 151.7p. Normally its around 10p more expensive so the gap is smaller than normal.

Tesco Petrol Station (Prince Avenue) 144.9 for E10 when I drove past earlier today.

Has anyone else got a letter from their energy companies saying the price is going up again on the 1st Jan?

I have but it's not really a big change, standing charges and gas is staying the same, electric is going up 0.086p per kWh, which works out to about 15p a month more for us.

The next big one will come in April, the £66 credit is going to stop and energy bills will go up by an average of 20%.

It will be you're right. Something has got to give.

NHS nurses hold the hands, tend the wounds, save the lives, wash the dead. They comfort us, console us, diagnose us, save us. They toil & smile & endlessly care. Not a single NHS nurse wants to strike tomorrow. They’re desperate. Please show NHS nurses some love. Please RT

20% Pay rise, they're having a laugh.

They don't get my support at all.

When they were offered 3% by the Gov, I was in full support of them because that was taking the Biscuit, now they're taking the Biscuit.
