Transfer News, Gossip & Speculation Transfer Thread - Summer 2025 Edition.

Transfer news
I enjoy the rumours more than anybody but I do think it’d be better if the leaks were plugged. I guess leaks are just part of the modern game but it seems absurd how common they are considering we’re in the 5th tier
Unless the in the knows are purposely given titbits to feed out? I’m not sure what the logic is, but I know clubs do it often.

There was a report which I think I saw in the Ex-Shrimpers forum which said he's got interest from MK Dons, other League One clubs, and St. Mirren from Scotland, and Luton would let him go for 150k. Don't think he'll be back here.
I think the most important thing for Bim at this stage is playing and scoring regularly. If he came here and hit 25 goals next season, I reckon that would be more beneficial for him in the long run than scoring 5 or 6 goals for the season and getting mostly sub appearances at a League One or Two club.

If we had that sort of money to throw around though, I’d argue it would be better spent trying to sign Golding. I genuinely think he’ll go a really long way in the game.

@ShrimperStats is there any indication that Pereira could operate at LWB? Or do you think this is a signing to give us an option playing 3-4-3?
Pereira can play on either side, so I think it could be an option. However, for me, he’s much more suited to the right -side where he can stay high & wide.

A 3-4-3, 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 would suit him better, I think.
