I didnt think he would come good and have felt for a while that he very much a weak link in the defence but he has improved in the same way that prosser did when he was awful to start with. He actually looks a very capable footballer and is fairly aggressive and his timing of challenges was very good saturday.

The great part is that we have mads and bolger on the bench and they cant get a sniff. Proper cover and proper competition for places not just in defense but all over.

Great stuff and testament to PB and his team

I get your point on cover, but I think we will badly miss Prosser if he is out, unless Mads and Bolger are also natural leaders and organisers- elements of Prossers game where he isn't always given enough credit. For example on Saturday with 5-10 mins left he was telling everyone to get forward as it was very compressed at the back and we had no out ball. No one else was doing this , will someone if he is not there ?

Personally, I think it would great to have an all-gay centre half pairing. Forget defensive partnership, I;m talking civil partnership! Ha, ha! Doubt they are gay though. I used to give two mates a lift to work and we were all happily married.

that's sweet but i didn't realise you could formally get 3 people in a marriage

Just a last thought ............. I wonder if there will be thread like this about Barney later in the season after he has had a purple patch. :omg:

Not just me then Rattus! :winking:
Would love to see it, but think Barney's well and truly out of favour :'(
Which is probably the cue for him to go out on loan and score a a hatfull lol x

I agree that Tommo has impressed this season. I actually thought he was hard done by to lose his starting place to Bolger at the start of the season because he had a great Pre-season. As stated by many he is clearly improving through having a run in the team. Last year his season was disrupted not only by injuries up also international call ups. I think he is no longer eligible for the under 21s so this will be an advantage.

His partnership with Pross is looking impressive Nd I actually think Tommo will partner Bolger and Mads just as well as he is quicker and more agile than our 6' 4" CBs.

Tommo also gets my vote for player of the month - consistent and hard working under difficult circumstances. Good to see the younger lads taking their chances.
