One O'Clock At The Crane

Guest
15 days ago, on Saturday 21 May 2005, an incident occured in a KFC restaurant just off the London bound carriageway at Basildon on the A127.

A group of Northampton Town "supporters" (for want of a better word) took it upon themselves to make an unprovoked assault on a group of boys aged 13 and 14.

The group of boys were chatting excitedly to each other about football. They had not, however, been to see Southend's victory over the Cobblers that day. They were about to go to a Presentation Evening for their youth football club, where they were due to pick up trophies and party the night away.

We already have witnesses to this assault and testimony for the steward at the club where the Presentation Night was held relating to their injuries. They were superficial, but the boys were in shock and, of course, their evening was ruined.

I would appeal to any decent Northampton Town supporter, of which there are thousands, to PM me if they have any information whatsoever on the identity of these miscreants, so that the due process of law can take its' place.

Rest assured, though, we already have an idea of who they are judging by the behaviour of some of them at Roots Hall that day. It can be taken as read that, one way or another, these amoeba will be identified and justice will be done.

Thank you.

Thats bad news!! Suggest you go on Talkin Cobblers (northampton Rivals site) and put the feelers out.
