Matt the Shrimp
aka Harry Potter
Wow, three new stories on the OS this afternoon.
First of all, SUFC won the League Managers' Association prize for the performance of the week, and Tilly got to pick up a nice little trophy:
Tilly looks into the Crystal Ball...
Second, Tilly gives his weekly musings before the visit of the Saddlers:
Top Wins Helped Beat The Drop
It's stuff like this that makes Tilly a superb manager. It's all too easy to forget that we were 23rd in Div 3 not too long ago... but it was because we beat the sides at the top of the league - who maybe got a bit complacent - that we fought our way out of trouble. There cannot be an ounce of sympathy or an iota of complacency tomorrow. We must be ruthless, and we must win.
Finally, big congrats to Scriv with all his work on the Southend United official matchday programme. "The Blues" matchday programme was voted third best in the division this season behind Oldham & divisional winners... Col******r (!) by collectors' almanack, Programme Monthly:
Blues Programme Scoops Award
Many, many congrats Dave - your efforts are paying off big time. Let's hope, however, that that and the LDV are the only competitions in which the Ewes finish ahead of us this season...
