Looks like this could be the start of a wave of job losses and ulitmately, a possible recession

One good thing is that they are looking to Southend as one of the seven places in the country to consolidate their services into. Nice to see that Southend is getting a good reputation in the finance industry and hopefully our local economy can hold up even if the rest of the countries is collapsing
 
Anyone else seeing redundancies at their place?

There are a few on the way at my place but that is mainly due to duplicate roles being eliminated following a merger.
