Background help?

Can anyone help me please?

In my post-Play-Off excitement, I downloaded one of those cracking pictures from the club website to set as a background on a computer. This afternoon, some little **** has re-set my background to be a tiny little picture of Fratton Park. He thought he would be really clever and get my original background back, but he couldn't! And of course these backgrounds are no longer available from the club site.

So, can anyone with a superior IT knowledge than me (not difficult!) suggest a way I can get it back?

1. Will it still be in my computer somewhere? (I can't find it and there are some access restrictions applied to it)

2.  I do have the background on another computer - any way of transferring it across?

3.  Any chance that Scriv could put the backgrounds back on the website just for me pleeeeeaaaassssseeeee?

4.  Any other suggestions?

But how come I couldn't find them when I looked in the Breaking News section? News only goes back as far as 14th June!!

If you look at the news archive page, on the right hand side next to the top (most recent) story is a section called 'Archive' and a drop down box called 'Display Stories From Week'...

If you select a week from there they have stories from the previous 12 months archived

Aaaaaaaahhhhhh, thanks for that, it's good to know, seeing as I couldn't access your link on the computer in question (worked fine on another one!), so I actually found it myself, now I know how!!!

So, I'm pleased to report that Kev and the trophy are smiling back down at me again!

OK, I know the trophy's not actually smiling, but you get the idea......!!

Are you sure you should be using a computer if you're asking that??

Reminded me of the scene from Zoolander when Derek and Hansel have to retrieve the files from the computer!!

Incidentally, I can't see why they thought you'd like Fratton Park on your desktop. I presume it still looks like a half developed industrial estate just as it did last year.

Yes, I've just read my questions again and realised how hilariously incompetent they come across as. But believe me, I think I work with some people who would believe that you could do those things quite literally!

As for Fratton Park, it was a deluded Pompey fan's idea of a joke!
