Barnard won't travel to Bristol on Saturday and depending on the time it takes for a pain killing injection to work, he is doubtful for Leeds. Always wise with hindsight but...........should he have been used against Scunny when he was clearly not fit?
Have also seen an article on newsnow stating that Ipswich are keeping an eye on Sawyer.......but then goes on to say that they really don't need a midfielder.

should never have been risked on tuesday. cearly he was not fit and i would have thought two fit strikers would have given us a better edge than 1 and half fit ones. after saturday im surprised tilly didnt throw in laurent...element of suprise etc. would like to have some news on freedman for saturday. i think he is the vital striker to us and any of the others can play with him.

Absolutely right mate. Playing Barnard on Tuesday was unbelievable!! It wasn't as if we were desperate. Laurent or Walker could have come in. Very strange decision.

I think Dougie will be back for Leeds, Barney shouldn't really have been risked - Rev and Walker did an ok job the previous game, and Laurent and Furlong are still in the wings.

Exactly! We do have some choice on the bench this season.........and for all those who said we've got too many strikers............!
Think the lesson has probably been learnt and we won't suddenly see Dougie re-appearing......would imagine that he'll make the normal way back from injury.....i.e. one or two appearances in the reserves.

He did feck all Tuesday and wondered what the point in risking him was! Shows how little faith Tilly has in Walker...
