Or maybe they'd keep it to themselves and avoid burning bridges and damaging their reputation.

I'm not saying that Clarkson wasn't badly treated, but it would benefit him to come across as someone who can show discretion.

If I wasn't getting paid by my employer then I'd take them to a tribunal. If I worked in an industry where discretion is important (which I do) then I wouldn't criticise my former employers on social media (I'm not denying that Clarkson has probably been treated awfully by SUFC/Ron)

Clarkson works on the medical side of things for a Premier League club. He's entrusted with very sensitive information. If he comes across as someone who blabs his mouth, then that may not be good for him in the future.
