Big crowds...

How long are people going to keep coming with performances like yesterday. If you were a neutral you would have said both teams were relegation candidates. Ball was hardly on the floor at all. I will keep coming regardless, but i know people who have been to a few games and would not suffer paying £20 to watch that rubbish. Whats happened to the free flowing football we have been acustomed to seeing ? It was very league 2 on saturday and no where near the level required to reach the championship.

I understand what you're saying but at this stage of the season, things are gonna be tight and scrappy whoever we play. I'd rather win ugly than not win at all

It was pretty dire, but the conditions werent great !
I dont think we are as fluent as earlier in season, but we have changed things round a bit since the transfer window. The most important thing is the points and hopefully that will keep people coming !

Forest must be a sellout?

Having renewed my season ticket yesterday it will be a while yet. You say that the standard was nowhere near good enough to reach the championship, however it may have escaped your notice but the 3 points gained took us into the play off positions.

IMO there were a number of reasons for yesterday, not least the weather conditions, also Luton were pretty poor, and we seemed to go to their level. It will be interesting to see what happens on Tuesday night.

Agreed. I'd like to add to that the fact that the 'floating fans' who appear when we are in a good league position don't seem to care how well we play, only that we are a) winning and b) in a decent league position....

for me at this point in the season all i really care about is the three points. i don't think we have played well all season except the first few games. we played much better last season. hopefully we will see a better game on tuesday but again the win is all that matters to us at the moment.

We always struggle to play our style of football against these sort of teams. Tuesday night will be a whole different story.

You have to remember that teams like Luton will come to RH and scrap every inch of the way. It's not easy to break teams like that down and I swear they were playing with a balloon until the first ball went out. Conditions out in the middle were far from ideal either with a swirling wind.

The last pure footballing team down here were Leeds and we tore them apart that night. If Forest come down without the negativity, as I expect them too, the true test will be whether we get the ball on the deck and let the football do the talking as we know the team are capable of. We saw glimpses of that in both halves yesterday and we did the important thing, which was getting the three points relatively comfortably when arguably we'd have struggled against them a couple of months back.

I dunno....2-0 and you're still not satisfied.....not a great game but 3 points nearer to the playoffs (at least). I'll be renewing my seaso what ever the outcome and quality of some of the games.

Agreed!

How long can we keep playing bad and picking up three points? The luck will run out sometime.

Good run of form..Another 3 points. Into the playoffs..
We were all over Luton and could have had three in the first half.. The keepers save from Blacks header was brilliant.. At this stage of the season playing a relegation club and only being a goal uo in a first half we dominated, I think we did really well in the second half playing into strong wind as they put bigger and bigger players on.. They didnt have many chances to get a decent shot in. im surprised they didnt shoot from distance with that wind behind them) and we had a couple to finish the game off.. I dont see much to be dissapointed about

I think that people are entitled to be entertained is all. It is after all a spectator sport. I dont expect manchester united type performances in the slightest but i was just trying to point out that if we are to increase fan base whilst aiming for promotion then we need to dispatch these teams with greater ease and show promotion credentials. As for a glut of chances we may have had a few first half but i certainly didnt see a lot second half. As i have already pointed out i will go rain or shine ,but its the others that only come when its shining we need to retain.

I agree, it would be great to see flowing attacking football.

However this is league one, not the premiership and whilst I think we can play better the fact remains we are in the top 6 and currently in great form results wise.

To be honest we actually played well for the first 20 minutes so if we can play like that for 90 minutes then it will be more entertaining.
