Fair point, but the preceding couple of hoursmonths were so irredeemably awful, I'm not sure that game could be classed as a season highlight even if the postscript was very welcome.

Very thin gruel in 98/99 mind. A 1-0 defeat at Highfield Road in the League Cup wasn't bad given that Coventry were relatively strong back then. Shame we got gubbed 4-0 in the home leg.

I enjoyed the 3-0 win at Plymouth - £5 on the Trust coach!

FTFY.

It was the postscript that I enjoyed.

Why hasn't Napster included any of my highlights?:thump:

1998/9 is looking ropey. I was hoping Maher made his debut but no.

The two-legged League Cup victory over Gillingham was our first against higher division opposition since (I think) 87/88.

As I said above, thin gruel...

Ah that reminds me 8 League wins in a row under Tilly 05/06 equalled that record aswell an Eastwood scoring for 7 games in a row equalling Angell's record I believe in 04/05.

1994-95 We won 8 of our last 10 games to go from being in the relegation zone to finishing 13th. Steve Thompson's Blue and white army would could have happened if had stayed onas manager.
