The greatest show on earth descends onto the region that is West Sussex next weekend.
Aptly named "The Festival of Speed",it showcases many varieties of motorsport disciplines and so much more.Lord March opens up his " back garden" that is Goodwood and let's screaming machinery such as F1 cars,WRC cars,Le Mans GT cars,Superbikes and christ knows whatever else run up his hill.Oh and of course all the drivers will be there (including Lewis fresh from his Brit gp win),past and present.Go and stand at the driver signing-on area and chat to names such as Moss,Brundle,Massa,Solberg,Coulthard and all.
I gave up on doing Silverstone GP some years ago and now look forward to this annual petrol-fest,the ONLY place in the world where you can get close to a F1 driver,and there are a few there indeed.
Stand on Lord March's front lawn,enjoy a wine,listen to the jazz band then mozy on round to the Supercar paddock,a collection of brand new supercars that you can literally walk around,Bugatti Veyron,Mclaren f1 road car and every damn quick production car you can think of!
