Very bizarre selection for Fulham though at a critical time in their survival fight.

There were a couple of times he was clear through for us and bottled it, I'm not sure that he is ready for Fulham's hopes to be pinned on him just yet.

Indeed, giving two strikers their debut in a crucial away game was bizarre, particularly when they had Darren Bent on the bench. Looked like Woodrow did alright though, from what I saw on MOTD. They didn't mention his spell with us though.

The 5 live team were surprised by his selection and mentioned his record here several times during the commentary.

Apparently, he would have had a simple open goal if his strike partner hadn't been so selfish when the score was nil all.

Yep. On his own up front at home to Newcastle. Go on Cauley!

I wonder if it is in his Fulham contract that he has to start very game...?

Just scored but has controversially been ruled offside.

To be fair, if look at our results we were much better with him than without!

Amazing that the professionals rate him more highly than some on here did. Maybe they know that they're talking about.

Maybe they do yet one thing so far is certain Cauley doesn't score many!

In case you hadn't noticed he played a full premier league game for Fulham today. League 2 to premier league in one season can't have happened too often. Looks like he had a good game too.

Think this belongs in ex-shrimpers forum mate.

Good luck to him, was another who was forced into a forward role here where the service was poor and suffered criticism as a result.

Just watched the Fulham game on MOTD and at one point the commentator mentions Woodrow and says he's the best Fulham player out there. Looks to have slotted in nicely there now, really really pleased for him.

We all should be pleased as we gave him an platform to play & he should be grateful for the change of manager too!

Yes he said that about their manager on MOTD

BTW most of the guys on the Fulham site `Friends of Fulham` are pleased with Cauley and think that he is the way forward for them

Nice to see a young English player given a chance. Maybe Fulham are already looking ahead to a probable season in the Championship next season.
