We were never going to get someone in to replace Phillips. Even if we got an experienced older player he would have played him with Phillips anyway.

This Bolton lad has a decent amount of games under his belt so certainly better than someone completely unproven.

Played plenty at Bristol and they wanted to sign him permanently so thats promising.

I would still see if Paul Robinson (Millwall) is up for a loan spell as well. I would feel a lot happier with an older experienced head who still had something left in the tank.

Quality is harder to find than experience though so always a bit more of a risk.

With Prosser out Id settle for anyone decent with a bit of experience. This guy has a season so thats not bad.
