DEADPOOL 2022

Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees, Queens Of the stone age. Just 57, quite a shock. No age.
QOTSA were at their best when he was in the band.
Layne Staley, Chris Cornell and Mark Lanegan were all vocalists with grunge supergroup mad season as well. All dead now

I always thought Gary was an alumnus at SHSB in fact SHSB always we’re proud of it!
I thought it was WHSB. There was the story (probably untrue as Henry Cloke (spelling?) the then headmaster was quite a kindly bloke IIRC) that he said to Gary Brooker, "Brooker, you'll never amount to anything"

Shirley Hughes, children’s author and illustrator, aged 94. Wonderfully talented, my children loved her books (Alfie, Dogger etc) when they were little. RIP

I don’t come here as often as I used to, but just read that the usual organiser may not be able to set it.

Add your 10 nominees and let’s see how it goes. It won’t be anywhere near as up to date as usual, but worst ways, we will tally up in a year!!
Thanks ever so much @The Big Shrimp for taking this on.
Had a difficult few months recently and needed a break from a lot of things.
Am back to strength now and am getting out and about again, starting with Chesterfield tomorrow.

Rod Marsh, former Australian wicketkeepr passes away aged 74.

I saw him about 6 weeks ago whilst out on my big walk and had a quick chat. Didn't let him know that he was on someones list this year.
