Did RM answer SOS questions

I think a zoom call where the answers the questions one by one would be beneficial. Whats the point in having the answers written down in a response. If he's last statement is anything to go by I'd want the answers spoken on a a recorded zoom call.

At least that way one chairperson can interject and ask him to get back on point. Quite difficult to do that if you were to get a response in writing, unless someone is going to watch him write the reply

You've not seen the Zoom calls? Why answer a question when he can talk about the past or indeed, anything but the question. We tried that.

Hence, in writing. He can't start writing about Simon Cox or Chris Powell and he can't be taken out of context.

But, I suspect he won't answer regardless of how we approach it.

Please cling to the comfort of being Mr. Righty Face for now. What pleasure will that give you when the houses are built and your whole point is relegated to the bin of futility? SBC are driving home their housing wish list. They will get what they want and that will result in a boost to Martin family economy. Good for Ron. He's in business to succeed. Most of his critics on this forum would sell-out to be in his shoes.

Not interested about being wrong or right. I'd love Ron to have succeeded but he hasn't.

He has already failed to deliver what he wanted which would of made him the huge income and legacy of rent he was aiming for.

I suspect and hope you are right (although still far from certain) that some sort of development will go ahead. My expectation is that Ron will run out of time and have to bailed out by another party swallowing up his profits. He'll be lucky to break even over the last 20 years.....just my prediction.

Ive heard that Ron has been reading the famous Japanese book by Hari Kari, who opted out of a kamakazi mission. The book focusses on the noble AND LONG STANDING art of CONTRITION

As a result Ron has recognised his first act will be to wear a sack cloth to meet supporters. A mattress will be laid on the ground , surrounded by ashes . Ron will lay face down on the mattress and wail continuous apologies, in the Japanese tradition, as he has had a damascene moment and realises that full bloodied apologies when you have cocked up so severely enable you the chance to grow genuine apoplectic remorse

I've seen the zoom calls and whilst he does ramble on, an agenda of the set questions which he has already have sight and following those questions ensuring the chair person stays on track with just those.

I think its been said previously that the chair needed to be stronger in his control of the meeting (Not a criticism of the chair, but everyone seemed to almost encourage Ron to go down the rabbit holes with the stories about past players etc) I think every zoom call I watched with Ron (2 of them?) it was stated at the beginning that the call would last no longer than an hour. I think one ran for an 1 hour 30, and the 2nd call ran for almost 2 hours

I don't think him writing it down would ensure that he didn't start going down rabbit holes. The last statement he put out, 2 paragraphs on Mick McCarthy and 2 paragraphs on Stan just to confirm that a call will take place. Key bit of information is at the bottom about the full statement of its management etc. Even in a statement he rambles on

Worth remembering the next time you read Ron is clueless and a useless businessman. He is fooling more people than we give him credit for.

So with a Line of Duty reference, and apologies to people who aren't fans or who haven't seen the final episode yet...

RON IS THE 4TH MAN!

I don't think RM would write anything down that specifically would tie him to something. He really isn't daft! However, I would take everything he says or does write down with a very large pinch of salt as he says what he needs to at the time to placate people. What he actually does will bear no resemblance to anything said or written down. Even written down contractual financial issues have had to be taken to legal proceedings by some of our players just to get paid what they were owed. I doubt he'd worry about following through on what he writes down for fans!
