Eastwood Spotted

I was down the Roebuck on Saturday night, and Freddy was down there with a few of his mates. He seems a real genuine guy, I asked him if there was any news on a new striker. Freddy told me that there is nothing to tell at the moment, but he reckons we need more than just a striker as the squad is too small!!

Is anyone else concerned about the squad size?

Freddy was also in the Spread Eagle for the late licence!Did anyone else see him??

All of us, I think... and I reckon that'll include Tilly, Brush and Ron.

I'm sure they're working on it... but they want to make sure they get the right players in. If they wanted to settle for any old player, I'm sure we'd have a full squad by tomorrow.

Couldn't agree more OS.

My (hopefully to be dispelled) fears about Jozic aside, I'm happy that Tilly, Brush and Ron are waiting patiently for the right players. In my opinion, competition for places was behind our success last year. No point bringing in a player to make up the numbers if they won't put pressure on the player currently wearing the shirt.

Hopefully, we'll make the numbers up with loan players like we did last year. Didn't turn out too bad...

Techy asked Luke Guttridge the same question but regarding goater. He confirmed goater has been at the hall but had no info if he was signing up!

It's better than the spread eagle...
