Theymade 457 and we've been bowled out for not many on the same pitch in same conditions. Considering we beat this team twice in the first game this season, it's a sorry effort.

May go for OD promotion now. Would my side survive in II?

lost by 6 wickets- i think 20 fell today, or something ridiculous. evidently both sides were better with the ball.

about 30 ahead with 9 wickets left. Draw hopefully but a defeat is still possible. another 200+ should see them run out of time

Need 7 wickets tomorrow. Durham won so im hoping the Cricket Nufties can batt for ages tomorrow, cos if they dont, i look very likely to go down!!

Kev

Thought I'd let Richie get his 400 before declaring.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

I've just got promoted to Div II !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
overnight table looked like this and the team chalanging has lost with only 3 bonus points!!!

Unbeleivable. 4 games ago I was in 3rd worried about being the 5th team. Now next season I'm being slaughtered in DIV II, Gulp.

If the sweetest sound to a batsman's ears is the melodious middling of a ball, that shot was Celine Dion shrieking whilst hitting a tin dustbin with a lumpy stump.

Quality commentary line!

It's nice to see having a reasonable tail makes a difference in FC. My number 8 (who should be at 9, dont know why he isnt) made 15 from 48 balls, which in other circumstances could be very useful.

End of Over 92 (1 runs). Southend: 333-7, runrate=3.62 (1st Inn: 204-10)
Lead by 80 runs. (Felix XI 457-10)
